Very poor performance on Windows 10

Stay away from this card if you're using Windows 10. Although the drivers install without any problems, the performance is very poor. The driver showed a connection speed of 300 Mbps and my actual download speed was 6 Mbps. I tried the default Windows 10 drivers as well as the drivers on the CD and downloaded the latest drivers from startech and mediatek (who make the chip on these cards) and using the Mediatek driver increased the speed to around 12Mbps. It was 15 feet from my router. my laptops, Phones and other wireless devices download from the Internet at a minimum of 20 Mbps on a G-speed connection (and 60 Mbps on a wired connection). this is my internet speed). This card connected at 6-12 Mbps at G or N points. I've adjusted all sorts of settings, turned off QoS on the router, and so on. I thought I had a bad card so I ordered a replacement card. The change was the same. There's a chance this card just doesn't work well with my router because it's pretty cheap (Cisco e1200), but I've had no problems with my other wireless devices and this router. Pay a little more and get a decent card, not worth it. Even the wireless G card works better. that this card just doesn't work well with my router because it's pretty cheap (Cisco e1200), but I've had no problems with my other wireless devices and this router.
