I bought this wire to use as a robotic lawnmower boundary wire after the thin standard wire broke more than a dozen times in a year. The old wire broke so badly that I bought a wire finder to locate the break. It's just fixed on the lawn. Since then it has withstood the sun, extreme heat, extreme cold (February 2021 ice storm) and the light construction traffic required to build the barn. Not a single break on the 480 foot wire. Now I need another coil of wire to surround the shed and I didn't hesitate to buy the same wire again.
