I'm a computer engineer trying to make my own setup. So take my feedback accordingly. The documentation for this seems pretty weak. Technical documentation for this is practically non-existent. "Setup" assumes you have strips made specifically to work with the controller. It is said to work with aRGB and some other standards (WS2812B). I ran into an issue where the only way to get the LEDs to glow is to toggle between another device in Synapse 3.0 and the Accessories tab. All LEDs light green for a few seconds and then turn off. I recorded a video and started a chat with Razer Support. You had to discuss "3-5 minutes" with someone there. Well I noticed that there is a down time in their chat which will kill your chat if you are idle. So I never got a solution because apparently this is not a common problem. Support aside, if you really want to use this with pre-built lights, fans, etc., it's probably fine. If you want to use a controller to do something out of the box, you have a much harder time. I am still working on it.
