Easy to install in about 30 minutes with hand tools. I got about a 2mpg increase, but other than that there was no noticeable increase in performance. However, you will find that it is a noise. It sucks quite loudly under acceleration, and the filter's intake pipe acts as a megaphone for what sounds like intake valve back pressure and turbocharger whine. Sounds pretty cool. Anyway, the K&N filter couldn't be better and I added some dynamat-like material to the housing around the filter which greatly reduced the noise, but it's still quite noticeable.
