We have a Mazda 5 and the driver's side CV axle has completely failed to the point where the car has stopped and was just making a lot of grinding noises. Scary considering the woman was driving at a speed of 80 km/h on the freeway when the car started moving. I ordered it and the connector separately as the kit was out of stock but never mind. Although the fork didn't fit or fit around the transmission side end of the CV axle, I was able to wrap some Home Depot ceiling mesh wire around that end, wrap it around the hammer puller, and it came out with just one pull. No poking around with a crowbar, no swearing, no swearing. I was able to assemble the car in less than an hour.
