they are decent. I only have a "gigabit" AV1000 configured for the highest possible bandwidth back to the router as the lower rated models actually only have 10/100 ethernet ports so I don't know where their "600Mbps "-Claims come when the physical port is limited to 100. There's also a pair of AV600 for some security IP cameras. NONE of these devices will NEVER really come close to gigabit transmission unless your electrical wiring is totally unencumbered and dedicated solely to these devices, and even then I highly doubt it. However, I've had speeds of around 60-70Mbps with 10ms ping (wired router ping 300Mbps/8ms) and they are much more stable than a 2.4GHz WiFi signal. So for IP cameras and other IoT devices with E-Port, these work wonders. So I would recommend them for certain applications where reliability is more important than speed, but I would NOT recommend spending more money on higher speed models that claim "up to 2Gbps". As an aside, the range of the AV1000 models. The sockets are huge, cover both sockets and slow down significantly when you plug something into them (another scam). them much more.
