Review on Bedford Clock Collection Redwood Mantel by Kyle Mack

Although the clock looks pretty decent, its internals are terrible. The hole on the back where the batteries are installed is so small that I couldn't reach my hand far enough to turn the volume knob. I had to use tweezers. The worst thing about the clock is that the chimes went off a minute before the hour started. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the chime to ring at one o'clock. I emailed the company and they sent me a replacement watch. Don't you know that the second clock strikes TWO minutes before the hour begins? I suspect there is a Bedford clock somewhere in the world that actually chimes, but I haven't been lucky enough to get hold of one. I decided to keep the first clock and slow down the time a minute so that the chime would chime when all my other clocks struck the hour. I think the best way to sum up this product is: Made in China!
