Nice watch but description is not very clear

I bought this watch for my 88 year old mother. She wanted a chime to regularly remind her of the time without looking at the clock. She liked the clock, but we couldn't set her up for a 24-hour strike every day. It is set to silent at night and cannot be turned off. Since she wants the clock to ring 24/7 we had to send it back and order another clock. As I said, apart from that one problem, she was very happy with it. So if you don't want it ringing in the middle of the night, it's perfect.

Pros
  • Rich and shiny polished brass dial inspired by chapter ring accents
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Identical to the older Daniel Dakota Moselle clock

Beautiful clock with striking mechanism. It looks like Daniel Dakota's model from the 1980s-1990s. Rich sound and adjustable volume (which Daniel Dakota didn't have). Do not get me wrong. Is it a high-end watch that usually costs a few hundred dollars? I do not think so. However, it will make a good, inexpensive addition to the decor and create a vintage look with an hourly chime. One person complained of difficulty syncing the chime to the clock. That's not difficult. Follow the call button…

Pros
  • . Proudly manufactured with a maintenance-free and precise quartz movement
Cons
  • Frequency

Poor quality product

Although the clock looks pretty decent, its internals are terrible. The hole on the back where the batteries are installed is so small that I couldn't reach my hand far enough to turn the volume knob. I had to use tweezers. The worst thing about the clock is that the chimes went off a minute before the hour started. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the chime to ring at one o'clock. I emailed the company and they sent me a replacement watch. Don't you know that the second clock strikes TWO…
