While working in the garden on my '05 Yamaha Kodiak, I noticed that my Warn 2.5 turns off but won't turn on. A little troubleshooting led to the contactor. By swapping the wires on the winch I was able to loosen the coil and turn it back on until a new one was ordered. Although the winch has only been used a handful of times, it's one of those things to have. Because it's rarely used, I couldn't afford the OEM price when I could get it at half price. Thanks to those who mentioned, the wire colors are changed by the OEM. I just connected them like that. Somewhat odd wiring from my switch (green to black contactor) and (black to green contactor) but works great.
