Review on Enhance Braking Performance with StopTech 309.08910 Sport Brake Pads: Shims and Hardware Included by Brad Schaefer

I use these on my 2005 Mazda Miata which is used daily around town and occasionally on the track. I put them on almost immediately after buying the Miata so I don't know if it's the pads or the car, but the brake feel is phenomenal. It's absolutely linear, immediate, predictable and powerful. Everyone needs a pad that can perform well on both the street and track, and for me it hits the spot. When cold they bite well and feel the same as when hot, but sometimes a slight squeak can be heard. Sure, it doesn't take much to stop a 2500-pound Miata, but they got me through 20-minute sessions at Big Willow and Streets of Willow (on street summer tires, not slicks) with no noticeable brake degradation and feeling exactly the same when you go home from the track. Dust was negligible and can't comment on durability yet, but after 3 days of hard trail they haven't noticeably decreased. I can already say I will be using the same ones last if they ever need a replacement.
