Do not test in a small space
I bought this to add a remote control to my Guardline traffic alarm. I will be using this as a remote control in my garage/office. I hooked it up to a Guardline receiver and one of my grandsons went up the driveway to get mail. The security line went off, as did that remote alarm. It's defiantly loud enough to hear in my garage/office.
