First, remember you're buying a disposable aluminum man here. Think aluminum foil! This pan is good for biscuits etc. I used a baking sheet underneath to put the filled pan in the oven. After baking, the bar cookies were firm enough to wear without anything else. Like another customer, for some of the pumpkin bars I needed the sides a bit higher so I folded the edge up making it 1/4-1/2" taller on the side and it worked great. I'm very happy with my purchase considering the number of pans and no problems getting my regular pans back from others I think it was a great deal I would buy them again.
