This is a very poorly manufactured product. I don't know if they were having manufacturing issues due to the pandemic or what, but the "aluminum" head is really just an aluminum coating applied over some base metal and the coating dissolves after repeated washes so that you can see the heat marks from the manufacturing process on the head. This base metal does not slide as easily as aluminum so what happens is you can tighten the head onto the base BUT YOU CANNOT REMOVE IT. We would purposely tightening it as lightly as would still be airtight and even then it would be almost impossible to untighten / remove for cleaning once the cream was done. Eventually it was so tightly on there that even using my industrial vice in the garage and a pipe wrench I could not remove the top. We had to throw it away after just a few months of use.
