Review on URGENEX Universal Professional Multi Function Vanadium by Richard Ahmar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Destroyed almost instantly but still 4 stars

Firstly, don't do what I did if you want it to survive. I bought it to loosen locknuts with a lost key. The tabs had to be engaged with at least 120 lb-ft of torque. I drove the cut bolts into the first nut and went to town with a small head on my percussion pistol. This didn't help, several pins were stuck in the plastic central hexagon. However, I found that the bits were about the same size, so I removed the plastic center, put in the bit, and raced. The first nut began to turn reluctantly after about 20 seconds. The bushing got hot and a few pins bent so it didn't move freely but still worked. The second nut was worse. After about 30 seconds of explosions, the first set of bolts was destroyed, but the pins were hanging there. After replacing the screws I broke two pins but put them back in place. This eventually loosened the nut a bit before it got stuck again, wearing down the bolts and shearing off a few more pins. This was the end of the socket, but it was enough for me to drive the nut all the way through with a hammer and punch. a lot of insults, but I tortured this thing and it took way longer than I expected.
