This lamp is great! I put three of these on our patio and they look amazing! I installed them myself with no help (a 39 year old woman with no electrical experience). I only had a ladder about a foot shorter than the ceiling so I could place the light fixture on it. However, the installation was quite complicated and lengthy. The bracket that came with the light was not attached to the box as the screws that came with the light were properly oriented so the light sits squarely on the ceiling. I had to buy a swingarm from Home Depot which worked fine. Also, the screws that came with the bracket are too long, so I couldn't mount it flush to the ceiling, and I couldn't lift the screws in the swivel bracket because they touched the edge of the box. So, another Home Depot trip for shorter propellers. There's also a lot of insulation in there, which can make it difficult to get screws through the holes in the bracket. But the insulation is perforated where the screws go, so I put on gloves and used my finger to poke a larger hole to put the screw through. As another reviewer said, look through the holes in the mount like binoculars and find the screws to guide it. It took me forever to install all three lights but I like the way they look so it was worth it!
