Review on 🛁 Bemis 400TTA 400TTA000 Budget-Friendly Molded by George Scoles

I'd say you get what you pay for, but I've bought cheaper seats than these that have been better. I bought a new house and swapped out 2 out of 3 toilet seats for these. The other was the same company but was slowly approaching. These seats are only used in guest bathrooms, so not that common. These are semi-comfortable standard wooden seats. Nothing fancy but just what you would expect. My troubles were not pleasant. The guest using the bathroom came out and apologized for breaking the seat. It was a simple guest and they cracked it badly. They were embarrassed, but I was embarrassed too because I don't want the toilet seat to break because of the guests. Bad hospitality and makes me look bad. I removed it and actually wanted to replace it with the same seat. I had an extra one, so I figured maybe it just got bent by accident. The distance was pathetic. This is where my poor rating came into play. They get 1 extra star for the comfort otherwise I would have left 1 star. This thing has plastic screws and they come off easily. 2 wrong slides with a screwdriver and you're screwed. Pun. I had to use an oscillating saw to get the old thing off because the screws got stuck in there and won't come out. Cheap plastic screws, the cheapest you can make. So filming was a 1 hour project that should have been 5 minutes. When installing, be as careful as possible and proceed slowly so as not to damage the screws! Aside from a crack and poor quality screws, they were exactly what I expected. Fingers crossed the thing doesn't crack again.
