This is how valve cover gaskets for Jeeps should be. A bit more expensive than the cork version, of course. The good thing is that it is designed to be screwed on properly and will retain its thickness once tightened. The cork gaskets eventually compress and then quickly loosen the bolts, resulting in a typical Jeep mess. With a cast aluminum cap, make sure you tighten it gently in a similar pattern to the head bolts, starting with the center bolts and then the outer bolts, and if you take a few passes to get full torque you will much better , even seal. There are a few inserts in this pad that will help prevent over-tightening, but it won't save you from hurting yourself if you're too aggressive.
