I was very surprised when this item arrived and I was told that it is made of very high quality materials and decent quality. It's actually a lot better than what the picture does it justice. I installed mine in a hand forged copper sink less than 1/8th of the way through and it worked really well. It will also attach to a much thicker sink like porcelain. The push button drain clicks confidently. Not some cheap easy to break cork you find on most. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because, as others have pointed out, it protrudes slightly from the bottom of the sink leaving very little water around the drain after most of the water has drained out . IMPORTANT NOTE: This is NOT due to the design of this product! This is because I and others have installed it in a sink that doesn't have enough lip at the bottom to lower the item so it's under the drain. It's the sink I chose, not this product. This is important to note. So if you have a regular car wash, this one works even better than mine.
