Excellent for pumping liquids. I first used this to remove a lot of standing water from the gutters to fix some gutter holes. The first few pumps were accompanied by a continuous flow of water until it ran out. The trick to getting a steady flow is to keep the pump below the water or liquid level. I'm sure I'll use this for other applications. It also has a hose and nozzles for pumping air.
