I use Lenox hole saws for most jobs. If it was an everyday tool I would buy a more expensive Lenox. I wanted this for some 6" lightbulbs since I used Rotozip for circles. This saw did a reasonable job and made a clean hole. It's very heavy. If it were anything lighter I'd give it a 5 It comes with a Lenox pin mandrel and a screw mandrel. I suggest just using a pin mandrel. If you stop the saw with a plain mandrel the saw blade will continue to rotate and unscrew itself from the shaft.
