Mine didn't have instructions so you need to know what you're doing, find instructions elsewhere, have someone show you or find out for yourself. They are thinner than the stock pulleys on my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7L, but as long as they are aligned they work fine. What I love about my standard pulleys is that there are rubber pads on the front and back of the belt to keep it from slipping, but it's just nice. At Dormans you get what you pay for, great value pulleys that get the job done no frills.
