3 Year Update: Still using these cans with no sign of wear or failure! BTW, these pitchers easily hold 6 gallons. We used those gas cans from the big department stores and spilled gas everywhere while we were fueling our mowers. VP Motorsport's pitcher is a big improvement over banks with government-mandated security features that don't work. We screwed a 3/4" PVC threaded nipple into the hole above, then added a threaded elbow and another threaded nipple as shown in the pictures. The screw cap screws right on to ensure a tight fit. Open the vent and pour out. Five gallons leaks in a fraction of the time of our old gas canisters and with a MUCH smaller spill. The large lid is easy to take off and put back on and hasn't leaked yet. We were so pleased with our first jug that we two have ordered more.They arrived quickly and undamaged.The large handle and shape of the base provide solid control when pouring (two hands).No reservations, we're happy with these jugs for our purposes!VP Racing Fuels 3512 Red Motorsport jug – 5 gallon capacity
