I left it there for about two hours to give the screw lock a good chance to dry. If you try to unscrew the socket before the thread-locking works, you will most likely pull the socket out. I got this tip from Lisle tech support. He also said to turn on the faucet until you feel a slight resistance. I turned the faucet until I hit the plunger.
