09/05/21 ---- Updated overview of the PRUNUS handlebar grips. Apparently, PRUNUS responded to my initial review of the handlebars I ordered by sending me a new set with a hole/plug in the end of the handlebars that allowed me to install a Miracle MTB bike mirror. Obviously, I wasn't aware of this "outstanding" customer service activity on their part at the time, otherwise I would definitely have commented positively on their service a few years later. This is definitely my fault and I hope this update to the review reflects the high marks I give PRIMUS not only for the pens I bought but also for the company's customer service. I am still happy with the grips a few years after purchase but will be buying a new ptetty set soon. I would definitely recommend any of the products sold by this company. First review to follow: (11/08/2019) Unfortunately I missed the questions/comments regarding the holes at the ends of the poles. I use a rear view "mirrycle" that mounts to the end of the pole and was disappointed to see that there are no hidden accessory holes on the end of the pole. Instead of fiddling with the return I simply drilled a hole in the end of the plastic cover and widened it so I could mount my mirror. I just installed them so can't comment on comfort, grip etc. yet. So far they look like they should work well and hopefully they will offer enough support and comfort for frequent long, sometimes rough, rides. They seem sturdy enough and look good on my bike. I am satisfied with both types of pens I have from PRUNUS as well as the customer service from this seller. Highly recommended! Happy trails!
