We had this EVSE for a year and a week when it wouldn't turn on. Only used 2.5 months, before that it was only in the box. It has been used daily to charge our Chevy Bolt electric car for the past 2.5 months. One day we came home, turned on the car and found that the light on the dashboard was not blinking. We checked the charger and found the display was off. We tested the NEMA 14-50 outlet and made sure it has power. We were not aware of the warranty on this product. So we wrote an email to the seller and described what happened. The seller asked for a short video showing the charger not turning on and a blister we found on the back where the smell of burnt electronics was coming from. I sent him a video and got a reply that a new EVSE was on the way and that the old one didn't need to be returned with an offer to keep the old one for parts if it was ever needed. This is a great no-hassle guarantee! Hope the new one lasts longer. 5 stars for customer service!
