Review on Chinese Calligraphy Watercolor Painting Beginner by Carrie Spencer

Great brushes for the money

Can't beat this price. They are great for watercolor paints. They retain their sharpness or even form a sharp edge if desired. They hold lots of water. Depending on your needs or painting style, one brush will be harder than the other. There is some initial peeling but it stops after a few uses. Most Chinese calligraphy brushes do this. I recommend these brushes.

Pros
  • Easy to clean: just rinse under warm water then gently shape the bristles with your fingers
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet
