Review on D-Link DAP-1620 AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender by Jesse Bailey

I just started using this machine. After solving some cryptic installation issues not addressed in the startup instructions, it seems to provide the extra coverage I was looking for, although I could only find one place in my house where it worked. Also, this product appears to be sold primarily to Canadian customers. For example, the phone number for technical support is 800, which doesn't work from the US, and no alternate number is provided. To get technical support, you must request it via email. I tried this when I was having installation issues and am still waiting for an answer. In addition, Canadian customers get three months of free technical support, while US customers only get one month. PS I finally got a response from tech support - an email with an instruction template that simply repeated the manual but didn't solve my problem. And these instructions are hardly user-friendly. .
