Window decal and film safety proof

I had to purchase this item for a window in my house that is only 8 inches from the floor (in the stairwell) that was not supposed to be coded but all closed assess was 1915. In any case, the inspectors informed me (through my contractor) that it was necessary to put a protective film on the pane, which I did. Very easy to use, not too sticky and doesn't dust in the first 0.000001 seconds after cutting. Be sure to clean the window! I liken using this product to putting one of the protective glass panels on a cell phone. Very simple and effective.
