Easy exchange. Cheaper than at the dealer.
The GM part was much more expensive than other brands of cars. Disappointing but the product works perfectly. Bad GM design had a bolt I couldn't access to remove the old block, broke the old block to get it out and installed a new block without a bolt that attaches to the bottom of the new block. Simply put a bolt in the hole without a screw, mount the device and put on the cover. It appears to be there and the device is working. The price was high, but still half the dealer price, and the dealerships didn't charge a base fee. Such a decent value if you can save $ and fix yourself. It took a maximum of 15 minutes! Easy repair.
