I'm new to embroidery so it may be due to my own ignorance but I didn't like the feel. I know metallic thread is stiffer (I'm a seamstress) but it seems too coarse and difficult to use and I even divided 12 threads into 3 parts. The roughness makes it tangle a lot and it just isn't as smooth and beautiful as expected. But I haven't used much floss before either, just thread. I just think there is a better option. Edit: Tried DMC and it's a million times easier to use their metallics. Unfortunately, I have to end on this topic, which is current. This thread is just so coarse and coarse compared to others.
