At around $10 these hooks are amazing value. I haven't fully learned Tunisian yet, but I wanted to get a set of crochet hooks with longer cords because I love knitting oversized adult sweaters and blankets. I figured the risk would be minimal if they turned out to be awful because they're so cheap. It was worth the risk because I love these hooks! I'm not a big fan of bamboo because I don't feel like the yarn slips either, and there are a few small nicks that let the yarn sag, but for now I just sanded them down with a small piece of sandpaper. and there were no problems with them. Ultimately the product is fantastic value for money and I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget or just don't want to splurge until you've really tried the craft.
