
The cheeks are held in place by cheap die-cut inserts. The center thread is very loose and will inevitably tear off under strong torque. All you're expected to do is turn the center screw by hand (or void your warranty), and the T-handle is just a long slotted punch, too. I don't know how they expect you to manually push 2 tons onto that awkward T-handle, but I know that if you could just do it by hand it would most likely break anyway. Great idea with a sleeve that keeps the claws firmly attached to what you're pulling out, but extremely poor quality control in terms of manufacturing, reliability, or product comfort.
