Review on 🔵 Akebono ACT1118 Proact Ultra Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Kit, Grey: Superior Performance and Reliability by Jay Williamson

Bought these for my 2013 Lexus GS350 thinking they would be the perfect replacement for my worn out OE brake pads. I clearly made a terrible decision to buy them, after installing the pads and overhauling the rotors the first week of riding everything was fine with the brakes, quiet and good pedal feel. Then it slowly began to creak. It got louder and louder every day, now after 3 weeks every time the pads are cold like in the morning the pads just squeak super loud when braking at slow speed (5-10km/h). Such a deal breaker. It looks like the pad compound they're using doesn't work well in cold weather. They are otherwise fine, but I would suggest just buying a Lexus/Toyota OEM part. Much better pillow.
