Review on AOC E2243FW 21.5" LED Monitor - 1920X1080, Wide Screen, LED Technology by David Palmer

Great monitor - great price

I bought 3 of these monitors to fulfill my dream of playing with 3 heads. After a long search I finally decided on this one. They are high quality, impressively thin, light and look fantastic, almost like a Mac product. They're a bit skinny as others have pointed out, what do you expect from something an inch thick? It is strong enough not to break under normal use. You can pick it up or rotate it with one hand! You are so light. The frame is also quite narrow, so they can be used for multiple monitors. Now for the cons: the viewing angles are a bit lame, especially in the vertical direction. I tried putting all 3 on the table (which can be done by releasing the lever on the bottom of the stand) but the vertical viewing angle was so poor it was almost impossible. However, this is quite extreme use, and the angle is quite suitable for everyday viewing. Another bad thing are the buttons. I don't like touch buttons, but luckily the power button is textured so you can feel it without having to look far. The buttons are a bit unresponsive, but they're touch buttons for you. The screen quality is also pretty good. Nothing fancy, but this is a standard LCD monitor with a fairly high pixel density. 1080p at 21.5″ is pretty good. In addition to two connectors: DVI or D-SUB / VGAI, I have had them for 3 months and have had no problems. So at that price I bought 3. :P
