Bought five of these to use around the house. We homeschool our 8 year old and use them as motivational tools so he can focus on schoolwork and household chores. (I set a timer for how long I think a task should take, and if it finishes before the time is up, it adds the rest of their break or screen time during the day.) They're VERY loud - me can even hear it go upstairs when he's in his room for an assignment or a break. One caveat: when dropped, they reset to zero. They were dropped here many times, and they didn't break once, but each time they reset to zero. Otherwise I would have given five stars!
