I liked this ear thermometer although it was difficult to get my cat to sit still to get a reading. But using this ear monitor on her was a lot easier than using a rectal thermometer. When I managed to get her to sit still during the measurement, the thermometer didn't make the sound it was supposed to and let me know her temperature was being taken. I've tried this with more than one of my cats and it never beeped. I returned it. Hopefully one day someone will make a cat thermometer that is fast, accurate, and beeps.
