I'm a veterinarian and let me tell you. Customers are so happy when I don't have to use a rectal thermometer! It works so well! The only thing is that it doesn't work well with covers, which is a plus and a minus. Pros: you don't have to spend money on cases (a big plus actually) and cons: you have to clean it after each use. It's accurate, easy, and way better than rectal for pets! Thanks for this product! Many of my tech friends have asked and will be buying soon!

I liked this ear thermometer although it was difficult to get my cat to sit still to get a reading. But using this ear monitor on her was a lot easier than using a rectal thermometer. When I managed to get her to sit still during the measurement, the thermometer didn't make the sound it was supposed to and let me know her temperature was being taken.
