I just started using these this week for storing bulk foods for long term storage. They were reasonably priced. And I love that they're ten to a pack, which is convenient for how I do about ten or twenty packs a time . because I want to limit the exposure of these to the air before I seal the mylar bags. When I had extras that I didn't want to go to waste as I was packing things away, I put them in a small mason jar and closed it up quickly, and I could tell they worked because within a few minutes the jar would click like it does after canning. I only had one bag -of pasta- that still seemed to have some air it it after a day, but that could be because there was just a lot of space and I didn't squeeze enough air out first. But I'm not worried about it.
