Very heavy, less $ than hardware store.

I bought 4 to try then ordered 16 more and found it was exactly what I was hoping for. They are VERY heavy. Just what I needed to reinforce the posts on my deck's joist railing. As so often, I bought them from Revain because I couldn't find the right item at my local hardware store or car dealership. I later found a similar bracket at a hardware store but $2 more for each bracket. I don't know why they are called "country farmhouses". They're simple, flat iron. Very nice but not rustic. Also, they appear to be way stronger than you'll ever need to hold up a shelf. Unless you want to put a bunch of car tires on the shelf.
