When I saw the low price of the 3-pack combo set (dual/tri-band), I wondered if there was something wrong with the wrong device I've been using it for more than a month, so far it's been working very well except for one day when the connection seemed to be bad, but that was probably due to my ISP. Installation was easy. There were concerns about how WiFi smart switches would connect since the default SSID is the same for 2.4G and 5G. Luckily, all of the Wi-Fi switches connected flawlessly to the Velop mesh system. A trick with the same SSID/pwd configured for the old router worked fine. Some people have commented on whether it is possible to have different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks, fortunately it is possible. However, I see no need for this. Everything seems to be working fine. In short, if you find a good price on this mesh router, go for it. We found that Bestbuy and other online stores sell much more expensive.
