Good deal for a 3-pack mesh router

When I saw the low price of the 3-pack combo set (dual/tri-band), I wondered if there was something wrong with the wrong device I've been using it for more than a month, so far it's been working very well except for one day when the connection seemed to be bad, but that was probably due to my ISP. Installation was easy. There were concerns about how WiFi smart switches would connect since the default SSID is the same for 2.4G and 5G. Luckily, all of the Wi-Fi switches connected flawlessly to…

Save time and money! Do not buy.

I purchased this system (and two other nodes) in August 2020 when my Apple Airport Extreme died. Since then, my internet has been unstable at best. For the first few months I blamed the Spectrum (if you have a Spectrum cable you'll understand it's the worst). Lately the signal has gotten so bad that we downloaded less than 100mbps most nights and had no internet in the mornings which wasn't ideal as we are currently working from home. I paid for a Spectrum tech to come out (they said the…

Mesh networks are a great way to set up a wireless home network.

Velop home network takes some time to set up, just read the instructions carefully. Works very well and does not bother even after a power failure. You get hundreds of megabytes of download speed when you plan to launch a satellite! There should be no problem streaming 4K content on your 77-inch LG OLED TV. It works fine and has a firewall, one of the things I've been looking for in a mesh network. Signal. In other words, my setup has a wired router that represents another network and the wired

DO NOT BUY from Computers & Accessories

I've spent the last 5 months working with my internet company to find out why my internet was falling . My internet company was part of the problem, so I recently switched and they blasted the Linksys WHW0203 Velop Home Mesh Wi-Fi System Bundle (Dual/Tri-Band Combo) - Wi-Fi Router for being a piece of junk, and now it's so too late to go back. I checked if it has the latest firmware. I looked for both the channel and the location of the node. I'm still losing internet and using a phone in the…

Not what you think

I'll break this down into sections for easy understanding. written on the box. Of course, this could have been the case when it was developed a few years ago, but this system does not fit into the current era of gigabit Internet. The box even says "with Internet tariff plans up to 200 mb/s. I have to give them credit for that statement - they were right (more on that in Performance). 2.) Setup - I know anything worth waiting for is worth it, but because it's more or less three independent…
