probably kills too much and may not work for your oven. (Newbie Alert)
New to this store. I originally bought this because it seemed like the best filter and who doesn't want less allergens in their house. Well, after speaking to my best friend who sells stoves and air conditioners, he introduced himself. He says Merv's rating is too high and my blast furnace is getting overloaded. (yes, it depends on your oven) I also have a new Carrier oven. So check your oven and don't exceed the recommended rating.
- For OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE of your heating and cooling or HVAC system, change your home's air filter at least once every 90 days per 1 inch. Filters and at least every 12 months for 4" and 5" filters
