Pros: Holds 2 or more kayaks on one vehicle Folds away when not in use Straps don't hold tension well. Should be replaced with ratchet straps. Cannot be used to hold kayaks in a horizontal position, only on their side. Doesn't have much tension on my oval crossbars. Best suited for square rails. The straps pass through slots that limit the use of the straps to 1 inch wide webbing and leave no room for twisting. Note. Wrap the strap around the X-bar a couple of times before tightening, otherwise it will move outward and allow the yak to move as well. .
