After months of searching (I've personally tried car dealerships and their tool rental programs) for a tool that would fit my 2002 Dodge. Durango 4.7 liter engine, I decided to add it and try it. Finally I was able to disable the Harmonic Balancer. WORKED VERY WELL! It's amazing how easy it was to work with the right tool. The Lisle 51450 has two additional, longer stems not found on other similar products. and those two longer poles were the key to my durango. If this review is relevant to you, I thought I'd add some more information that might help those looking to work a 2002 Dodge Durango. You will also need a special tool to install the Harmonic Balancer. Searching the web there is very little information on the various tools that work, with the exception of one specific tool that is not found in local stores and costs over $125 if you can find it online. As far as I can tell, the crankshaft that the Harmonic Balancer sits on has internal threads that fit an M14 x 1.5 bolt. The bolt holding the balancer is about 110mm long, so I'm guessing you'll need a bolt/rod at least 160mm long to mount it. I recently ordered an installer tool (Performance Tool W89710 Harmonic Balancer Installer) and haven't received it yet. If all the information I found is correct, it should work. If it doesn't, the next step is to order a threaded rod, cut it to the desired length, and use nuts and washers to create my own harmonic balancer installer.
