Lisle 51450 Harmonic Damper Pulley Review

I'm working on an 08 PT Cruiser with a 2.4 liter engine, I'm doing a timing belt and water pump. Arrived at the crankshaft pulley, no matter what I did, my 3-jaw pullers wouldn't budge. Ordered it for next day delivery. The pulley was removed after 30 seconds. Great tool for the job!

I bought this to remove the damper from a 2016 Ram 1500 because the question said it would fit well it didn't the tool was good and of good quality but I could not use it. I sent it back and gave it 5 stars because it was my fault for not doing enough research.

This puller works like a charm. The only downside is the lack of a hard case, so you'll have to pay attention to the details, but you can easily slip it into a small container like a large metal coffee tin or lunch box. Lisle makes good products. I have several tools from them and have had no complaints. Makes my work easier every day!

Good size for my application (GM Gen IV 3.6L V6). See photo. A good selection of pushers in various lengths. Magnetic spacers to center and stabilize the puller are a great addition, but my application required an additional spacer (not thick enough). The hook is well designed as it curves back slightly so the tip of the hook has a good bite and doesn't tend to slip off like other pullers.

Perfect fit for 2001 Dodge Durango 5.9L Harmonic Damper. I had to use the smallest center pole to get it to work. I used the magnetic jaw pads that came with the kit. After running the puller over the damper, I moved the magnetic jaw spacers to the side of the damper to keep the jaws from falling out. Good: Works as expected - very well. Lisle builds very good instruments. For years. Easy to use, much better than Advance Auto Parts credit. Well built, reliable tool. The unique jaw design makes it easy to put and hold in place without an assistant! After months of searching (I've personally tried car dealerships and their tool rental programs) for a tool that would fit my 2002 Dodge. Durango 4.7 liter engine, I decided to add it and try it.
