Waste of money for heat lamps

Both bulbs burned out a few hours after switching on. One lasted about 6 hours, then turned on and off the next day. 2 worked 6 hours the first day, then turned on in the morning and died 3 hours after turning on. Although they gave away a lot of warmth.
