Error after a year! (New update 2/22/20)

When the brakes were first installed and the break-in instructions were followed they had very good stopping power. Unfortunately, after a year and a month, the left front brake suddenly became metallic while grinding the metal. During the inspection, the inner pad on the left front brake system was found to be broken, resulting in damage to the brake disc. Let's see how the guarantee works now. Update: I have to say that speaking to customer service they handled the warranty without hesitation. They sent me a new replacement set. My main criticism is that the replacement requires complete disassembly of the entire rotor/wheel bearing assembly, purchase of new seals, new lubrication and complete reinstallation of everything, which is quite labor intensive on a Ford e150 van. Also I will not be compensated for the work and new seals, grease etc. Let's see how long the new assembly lasts.

Pros
  • Low dust braking confirmed by third party testing on a vehicle in Los Angeles showing an average of 30% less dust than the original braking system.
