Missing Manual - J7-t (abbreviated)

(Collected from various publications and YouTube videos.) Eversame USB Digital Power Meter aka Juwei USB Security Tester Model J7-t Specifications • Input Voltage : 3V - 30V • Input current: 0-5.1A • Accuracy: +/- 1% accuracy compared to a calibrated Fluke 87-5 multimeter My J7-t reads 5.12V; My Fluke shows 5.137V. Search the web for "USBmeter J7-t UK Safety Tester" which takes you to a page with detailed tests of the J7-t and a look at its components. J7-t has two USB Type-A ports. The plug is reversible, so you can connect it to the power supply with either side facing up. The connector has a set of pins on each side of the thin blade that allow this to happen. He doesn't take rough treatment. The socket on the other end of the J7-t will accept a cable from a charger if it is terminated with a Type A plug. The J7-t will display one of three screens when connected to a power source. The screen will look like the last one shown, but right out of the box you should see Screen 1. Screen 1 ◦ Voltage ◦ Current ◦ Watts ◦ Elapsed Charge Time ◦ Amp-Hours (cumulative) ◦ Watt-Hours (cumulative) [If you mistakenly press and hold Press the button (labeled KEY) on the top edge of the J7-t while touching it to the Connect power to enter calibration mode and see another screen. Disconnect J7-t and try again.] Accumulated counter values are derived from when the device was actually charged through J7-t. The count stops when charging ends and resumes when charging resumes. If J7-t is disconnected from the power supply, the values are saved and can be read out when the device is switched on again. To reset the total counters, press and hold the KEY button until you hear a beep. A quick press of the KEY button toggles the J7-t display between three screens. The other two are: screen 2 ◦ voltage of all 4 pins (v-, d+, d-, v+) ◦ connected load resistance ◦ J7-t timer/temperature ◦ elapsed charging time ◦ current screen 3 ◦ voltage/current ◦ capacitance/ correction factor ◦ energy in watt hours / temperature J7-t in °C ◦ elapsed charging time / timer. Screen 3 • Press 2 times to reset Cap: mAh • Press 3 times to reset Ene: Wh • Press 4 times to reset time • Press 5 times to set charge timer • Press 6 times to change language (English or (Chinese) (Hold Press the KEY button until you hear a beep to clear all counters immediately.) The J7-t's charge timer can be set to stop charging after a specified time of 1 to 24 hours stops. By default, the timer is disabled and shows as OFF on the second and third screens. To set the timer, quickly press the KEY button 5 times on the third screen. OFF will flash at the bottom of the screen. Hold Keep pressing the KEY button until you reach the desired setting (AO auto off). After charging for the set time, J7-t will stop charging, beep several times and display OFF on the screen.Through Pressing the KEY button returns to the normal display. Calibration Mode To enter Calibration Mode, hold down the KEY button while plugging the J7-t into a power source. After that, a press of the KEY button cycles through the adjustable parameters, with each parameter displayed separately on a separate screen. • 0.00A 2A source required for amplifier calibration • 5.12V 5V source required for voltage calibration • >30.0V overvoltage shutdown setting • <3.00V undervoltage shutdown setting • >5.00A overcurrent Shutdown setting • X1.00 mAh and correction factor wH ( 0.50 to 1.50) Double click the KEY button to change the value. When changing, a click decreases the value; Double click increases the value. After a single or double click, immediately hold down the KEY button to quickly change values. The final screen in calibration mode displays the phone number and website of Juwei, an invention of Shenzhen Ouju Technology Co., Ltd. To exit calibration mode, turn J7-t off.
