Review on πŸ“Έ Targus Digital TG-DL20C Pro: Powerful Electronic Flash for Canon DSLR Cameras by Russell Robertson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quite portable and affordable

Great flash, especially for small spaces like my bedroom or other spaces. Pretty thoughtful design, affordable price and easy to carry in your pocket. Now I can leave my big flash (Neewer TT560) at home when the event is small and intimate. I am currently working with an optical slave to power my Olympus EPL1 and Sony A3000 which is very problematic. No optical slave is required for my Olympus E420 and EPL2. No TTL, but then you need to know how to change ISO, aperture and shutter speed settings to get a decent exposure. Incidentally, as a diffuser I use a 35mm translucent container with Fuji white film to distribute the light more evenly. An old pill box will do. Simply glue the cap with epoxy, cut it in half and tape it in place. A great design that is also sold under other brand names such as Polaroid, Bolt and even Metz with different hot shoe options and higher prices.
