Review on 💦 Paint Gun Parts - Air Adjusting Valve (DEVHAV501) by Richard Gallagher

Revainrating 1 out of 5

6 reasons NOT to buy this valve

1. Super cheap material. Looks like chromed plastic.2. For"paint guns" caliber is terrible. Most spray guns don't require pressure above 40psi, so with this one you lose all sorts of necessary micro-adjustments. You're just guessing if you're on the right psi when you need to be precise.3. The valve is a restrictive screw type rather than the more preferred orifice type. Immediately I had to understand that this is not for me. 4. The fitting at the top has never been tightened so it keeps leaking despite everything I try. 5. Adjustment knob does not click into place. So when I spray a few times I look down and notice that it has been knocked down and is nowhere near the PSI it was originally set for. .Overall probably one of the worst control valves I can imagine. The ONLY good thing is that it's a small size.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
